Light fill in a sticky Gamechanger

I’m curious if anyone has used lightweight fill in a sticky Gamechanger and if it changed it’s performance.

I have an OG Gamechanger that I put Git-lite fill in and I really liked the performance and weight savings. I also really really like the sticky Gamechanger, but it’s a bit heavy with the standard fill. I don’t like carrying around too much gear, and try to keep the load weight down.

I’ve got the opposite problem. Here’s how I solved it.

My Gamebagger was too light and slippery, so, found a vendor that sold what was billed as “patented heavy-fill, thick”. Intrigued, I bought some; it came in a nondescript brown sack and a huge rod was included for packing the fill in. The fill reminded me of whitish dirt. Hmmmm…was I getting ripped off?

Eager to start, but nervous about the quality of my new fill, I grabbed that little Gamebagger of mine and using the rod (which, again, seemed overly big) I pounded a bunch of that “patented heavy-fill, thick” in. Beware! The Gamebagger’s fill hole was stretched to the limit, for sure!

Pro-tip; some of that white fill dribbled down the side of the included brown bag container (I was holding it too tight: don’t do that). It got stuck in the carpet! Oh noes!

?Slipperiness solved brah! Smeared some fill all over the (now dirty) little Gamebagger.

I‘m proud to say my saucy little Gamebagger is now fat, satiated, and…looks heavily pregnant? Oh well, I like heavy, fat, sticky things. Now my big rifle lays still as Carlos Norman Hathcock II’s steady hands, riding the Gamebagger’s sticky, taut lobes.

Match after match after sticky match.

FYI: To get the bag to willingly accept all of my prodigious, store-bought heavy-fill load, I had to really donkey-punch it.

FYI.

I ran a pint-size heavy fill Gamechanger all last season and think it's the cat's ass. I had an OG size sticky Gamechanger and I never found it to be as stable as the heavy fill pint-size but there would be like one stage every match or so where a sticky bag was the ticket. It seemed ridiculous to carry both bags around so this year I got a pint-size heavy fill Gamechanger that works with the Area 419 Railchanger and a sticky pint-size Gamechanger with Git-Lite for that one stage a match and for hunting and field matches where you have to move fast (think CD).

After using it a bit, the pint-size sticky with Git-Lite is quite nice though not as "stable" as the heavy fill one. I can see the difference in wobble when holding on MOA-sized targets. I'm going to continue using the heavy-fill pint size as my go to and the sticky with Git-Lite for the odd stage where stickiness is beneficial (since an extra 1.5lbs in my pack is no big deal) and where the weight savings are worth the stability tradeoff.
