LMT 223 DMR Stock

Does anyone know how to remove the rail cover on the LMT DMR stock? It did not come with instructions and I have not been able to get a response from LMT.

I am hesitant to pry it off. The Magpul PSR rail cover slides off. If I pry it off there may not be any way to reattach it after I am finished using a monopod.

Then I guess you're not gonna be using a monopod.

I took another look at it and found I was able to completely remove the adjustable butt pad which allowed the rail cover to slide off. I could not imagine prying off the cover was the intended method of removal.

Any rattle to that sock? Hoping for UBR Gen 1 solid.
