I bought my Hydro brass from Rimfire Mike here on SH, and he ran it all through a full length sizing die before shipping it to me. It was pretty much just prime, load, & shoot after that. I found an accurate load in a lower velocity node and ran with it. Out of 500 Pieces of fireformed brass, I think I shot 300 of them in matches and 200 in practice (100 of those were on the train-up day before the K&M Kahles match).
For me the entire attraction of hydroforming was avoiding burning components and barrel life fireforming.
