Emerging from quarantine now that we're fully vaccinated, and decided to venture into the local Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday to survey the reloading supplies. I was shocked at the massively empty shelves, devoid of literally everything (bullets, primers, powders, cases, cartridges, etc.) My observation to my wife when I got home was that my own reloading shelves are stocked WAY better than Sportsman's, in both volume and quality. How sad ... I hope this doesn't last much longer.

It is a weird feeling to walk past the empty shelves. My addiction to precision rifle shooting and reloading started in the fall 2020...bad timing, eh? Fortunately, I've been able to meet my most basic of reloading component needs online. Sad for sure. This, too, shall pass!

Let me look on you with my own eyes : gifs

I‘m surprised you haven’t ventured out long before this
No shit... It's like what rock have you been living under? Scared of the Rona... Give me a break! I've been openly exposed to people who actually had it at the time (and didn't know it) like 6 times. Hungout with them all day, talked, interacted, etc... I never once got it.

As for mystery fluid vaccines... Don't even get me started, but they're not shooting me with a vaccine for a virus with a 99% survival rate. I don't trust Dr. Mengele...I mean Fauci...Or the government. When I stopped getting the flu vaccine about 10 years ago is when I stopped getting the flu. Only had it once since.

April Fools days over. Say sike because there’s no way this is a serious post

I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt. You don't know if this is a medical issue with the gentleman. One of my doctors wanted me to wear a mask a year ago, he did agree that they do nothing to stop something the size of a virus. Implying the OP is a pussy is a little over the top don't you think?

I will say I was rather disappointed yesterday when I got kicked out of a big box store for not wearing a mask. I was rather vocal and stated that the county did not require a mask. The reply was that it was a company decision. I walked after loudly stating my objection.

Sad to see so many still wearing masks. They do absolutely nothing to stop a virus and your eyeballs are still exposed. Faucci really fucked this country but good.

It is a medical issue (several). I stayed out of public places until two weeks after my second vaccine dose. You are both intelligent and realistic to perceive a valid reason. If I caught this virus ... I would stand a high likelihood of of hospitalization and/or death. My observation was simply that I was surprised at just how empty the shelves were of "everything ... as compared to my last trip to Sportsman's about 1 year ago". It was just an observation. I'm sorry if saying that out loud made me fail to live up to others' expectations. When did it become OK to be so cynical and rude to others? I guess I missed the memo.

We're all dead men walking. We just don't know the date of the execution.

Congratulations on coming out of hiding. How much of your life did you waste in fear?

Not that I wish it on you, but it would ironic if after all that you die tomorrow in a road accident......

Everybody is just messing with you and giving you a hard time...dont take it so serious, come on man! you were a Marine
I was ... for 16 years. I'm hoping I was a non-cynical and less-rude Marine ... but who knows. I'm always surprised at how normally polite people turn into ass-holes, just because they have a keyboard in one hand and a mouse in the other.

i prided myself in being a blunt asshole while i was active. while i was a paratrooper and no marine, i will say that i was alway impressed with the marines i encountered while i was active. they could hold their own and give as well as take. and while i am still a blunt asshole, i am a bit more measured in my sharing of thoughts. if i dont really care about someone, they dont hear a thing. if i do care, they get both barrels straight up their ass....because it’s for their own good.
and i am guessing what you perceive as rudeness, is your fellow hide members not-so-gentle way of trying to look out for you.

i hadnt been in the local stores in a long time; not because of fear, but because of not needing to be. i was warned here, and by folks i know, about it. still, while walking through and actually witnessing it myself, it does become very real the first time you see it.

it’s going to be a great year for archery.
