Yall may castrate me for this, but I swear, I have been searching and found nothing.

Im looking for ranges that have 300-600yds plus. Somewhere around north texas and OK up to OKC.

I know of Tac Pro, out by Abillene, TX. I need to call them about pricing. Any others yall know about?

THX!!! Sorry for the newb question, but getting frustrated.

at Mingus, Texas.

And maybe check with the good folks at Badlands, roughly 35 miles southwest of Lawton, OK if you're interested in some training to shoot at distance.

You can even get a chicken fried steak at the smokestack in Thurber.

Bayou Rifles just south of Houston goes to 1000 but you have to be a member to shoot there.

You do have to be a member to shoot casually, but non-members are welcome and invited to each of our monthly matches.

Prone (Sling and F-Class) 1000 yard matches on the 1st Sun of every month.

XTC matches the 2nd Sun of every month

Prone (Sling and F-Class) 300/600 alternating on the 3rd Sun of every month.

Re: Long Ranges in TX and OK

There is a private range in Deadwood that has several 600yd lanes and it is pretty cheap. Around a $100 or so a year. Also has a pistol and a 100 and 200 yd that is completely separate from the other 600 yd lanes. It is pretty basic but for the price its not bad if your in the East Tx area.

Re: Long Ranges in TX and OK

In Oklahoma City area, there is the OKC Gun Club. It has a high power range out to 600yds and a silhouette range out to 500 meters. The silhouette range you will have to provide your own steel targets. It is a private membership range and they only hold new member orientations at the first of every year. So if you are interested and apply, you will probably make the new member orientation coming up first of next year.

Lots of other nice ranges there to shoot on as well.

That's where I've been going lately. The guys who run it are really nice so I don't mind giving them my money. There are usually one or two smiths out there during the day which is actually pretty handy. And the fake grass they put down on the prone line is nice enough I didn't need my mat.

This is correct, been a member there for 3 years. The cost to reup after one year is $180 I believe.
Its $25 or $30 dollars for the 1000k qualify. Non members can shoot on the 1000k if they are with a qualified member. Also you don't have to be a member to qual in the 1000k. I have friends that are not members and they qualified with me.
