I have used NV in the mil and gov service and am seriously considering purchasing my own. Will likely go with a 14 and what ever ir laser an individual can purchase. From a few days online research I see TNVC receives high grades in customer service and quality and also provide alot of good information and advice. I also see Brownells has recently started offering similar products from Moro-vision.

Has anyone had any experience with Brownells night Vision?

Recommendations on IR laser?

Sounds like you have plenty of experience with NV, why not buy used?
I've picked up some great deals on used NV,but I always ask for a data sheet and/or make an agreement with the seller for a three day inspection period. As always buyer beware, you are buying a used unit, but many are still under warranty.
There are some good deals on used equipment, as a lot of people are having to dump their "toys" because of the horrible economy.

And for an IR laser, there's been "flooded" market with like new PEQ2A, most coming in around $950.
