Hoping to try my hand at some prs style competitions this year. Thinking about going to the red brush matches in indiana. Looks like their range is out to 600. I’m between running my 140 eldm load vs working up a 123gr smk load. Recently picked up a ton of 123s. Since the range is only out to 600, do you guys think the speed of the 123s would be better vs the 140s? Anyone shoot these and recommend one vs the other? Thanks in advance. Looking forward to embarrassing myself.... LOL

Watching this thread. I picked up a bunch of 120 gr Hornady ELDM in 6.5 CM as ammo was hard to come by. Looking to shoot a beginners only match with it out to 700yards. I have 140 gr but saving it for full fledged matches

Redbrush is a good match. 540 is normally the longest shot. Some small targets and usually get a little breeze out there when I’ve been. The 123’s will be good. Great match to get some good positional practice. Also have a mover now

Red Brush is a great match, Adam does a great job with it. Usually have some wind and small targets, don’t let the short distance fool you into thinking it will be easy. Highly recommend shooting there.
