check on my electric scale. Would the Redding #2 Master Magnetic Powder Scale be good or should I buy something else. Using a Redding 30BR powder measue for 223 and 308 loads. Thanks
+1 for Scott Parker. He does something amazing with the 10-10 scales. I bought a couple of the older RCBS 10-10's "made by Ohaus" for a decent price. If your looking for a New 10-10 be warned, they are currently being made in China. For a short time they were made in Mexico. Scott will not tune one that was made In Mexico. Any ways...
If its "stamped" Park NJ it should be located under the scale. These were made in the USA 100% from what I've been told. The newer ones will be stamped Mexico or China. I'd stay away from those. Seen alot of bad reviews on the new ones, I don't have any experience with the new ones though. I'd look on E-bay to pick up an older one in good shape or contact Scott Parker. He can either work his magic on your scale or sell you one that he has already done. Either way you'll end up with a very accurate scale.
Nothing wrong with the Redding you have...great scale.
For years, all I used was that RCBS scale you picked up...very accurate, extremely consistent, you can't go wrong with it. Like any beam scale, make sure you zero it any time you use it...don't move it once it's zeroed, if you do move it, re-zero
Has anyone contacted Scott recently, I sent off an email about a day before this thread popped up to see about a scale and haven't heard anything yet. My RCBS 505 scale sucks and want something better.

I spoke with him by phone just about 2 weeks ago and he said that he was covered up. You may have to send him a couple of e-mails to get a response. I sent him 2 before getting a phone call.
