We all know the recient Hard to find any powder..I'm trying a new load up for a long range comp in Feb.
The problem I'm having is I came across 2 1/2 lbs of IMR 4350
I have Lapua S 139 grn and Nosler HPBT long range competition bullets with no load data for the IMR.
I have Hornady brass small and large rifle primers..
Does anyone use IMR 4350 ? That can offer some helpful load data..
I'm going to try 41.4 at 2.820 oal..

I assume you’re loading 6.5cm. This is a common powder and a common cartridge. Load data is available for this powder on IMRs site and even your bullet weight is listed. You gotta drive it home from there. You’re on the right track with starting weight though. Don’t stress about the different printers, use what fits your brass.

I've used both powders and found that the Hodgdon was about 30 fps faster then IMR for a given charge in a 6.5 Creedmoor. The barrel was also a little more broken in when shooting Hodgdon.

Went to range today with 6.5 creedmoor using 140 grain Custom Comp Nosler
loaded 10 rounds small rifle primer and 10 rounds large primer
with 41.8 grains IMR 4350 COAL 2779 changed from usual 2820..
shot the large rifle primer first..No signs of pressure, shot dead on 3 in one hole at 100 yrs.
then CCI small rifle primer noticed small shroom look to primer 1st two shots then 3rd shot blew hole straight through primer smoke everyplace and pucker factor sucked pants right up in there..
no other pressure signs No problem with large primers.. Could I have seated them to low and caused to much pressure for small primers??
ANY ..ANY HELP would be appreciated for these are going to be my competition loads in FEBRUARY for the Tennessee 600 yard shoot..
THANKS TO ANYONE IN ADVANCE
Sounds like you need to bush your bolt face if you want to use small rifle primers. This video shows the phenomenon
