We recently relocated to the Nashville area and love it! Its a major change from living in Wisconsin.

I have been looking for hunting land and found it would be in my best interest to purchase 40+ acres. Currently I'm really focusing on southern KY. I was reading that it can be rough country that people may not be happy about a TN vehicle and possible issues with meth cooking. Is this a true concern? I would plan to put a little cabin on the property and don't want to have to constantly worry that it would be broken in to or something.

Also what would be some good counties to consider for trophy white tails?

Thanks!

Spent a lot of time at Lake Cumberland. A lot of shady things going on in those hills, and boot legging whiskey into the dry counties wasn't even one of them. I remember watching a documentary on the explosion of growing weed in that area. It was their number 1 cash crop. Can't remember which county it was but it was near the lake.
