She's in better shape than most of the 20 year old that are out there any more. There was a girl that used to work at the grocery store here in town between stints at college that looked pretty good. Now that she's graduated she's doubled in size.
Knowing that there are female moderators on this site as well as members, why would you write this? Its a public forum and reflects poorly on us all. Not to mention its untrue misogyny. I strongly suspect that those men who married in their 20s, have daughters, sisters, or moms would by and large disagree with you.
I don't even talk like that about my neighbors dog like that.

If you are "friendzoned", that just means she didn't find you romantically attractive. It is simple as that. They are just being polite in declining your advances. Don't overthink it. It's kind of sad, but I'll be damned if it isn't true. The younger generations are growing up in a completely different world than the 40+ year old guys on here that are advocating for the nice guy approach. That's a lost cause. When those guys were sowing their oats, you had to troll the bar to pick up girls. Being a "slut" was a bad thing and girls were far more selective about who they slept with. Women were always attracted to the bad boys, but they were less likely to act on it because it sullied their reputation and impeded on their ability to tie down a nice guy in the future. Yeah that's what I was thinking. Been hitched for almost 15 years now but I had my time in my early 20's. Never had to treat women like whores, at least I didn't intend to and had em crawling all over me. (Of course being young and in great shape helps a lot).

I worked in corrections for a bit. And visitation always confused me. Young, attractive women would come in and visit rough, older guys in jail. There is actually nothing to overthink in this department. People give off cues in their actions. If a guy is doing a menagerie of nice and caring things for a woman acquaintance, verbally and physically, she will assume that he is trying to be her friend, or an older sibling, and will gravitate towards a friendship. If he wants a relationship, he mans up and states that point short and clear, without beating around the bush, and DEFINITELY without those *creepy asterisks*. If she accepts, good for him. If she rejects, or acts undecided, he politely acknowledges, wishes her well, and move on. You NEVER, EVER act needy or clingy around someone you are hoping will feel romantically towards you. That is the NUMBER ONE turn off for both genders. People want a mature adult partner who can share life experiences and memories with, not a whiny child who needs to be pampered and fussed over.

I was always the friend zoned guy in much of my youth and it took my step father pushing me into the gym daily and working construction every summer to build self confidence. I will say 25 years later it is kinda of fun and self-refreshing to run into the same girls that put me in the zone. They always wanna grab lunch or dinner and catch up with a few drinks.... I say "sounds great", but always know Im not gonna waste my time. All have several kids or ex-issues now and I have a great wife that stuck it out with me through no career and helped put me through pharmacy school in my 30s. ( she coulda walked for sure)
I will say though one of the ones that hurt the most came back later and apologized and told me she NOW realizes she would have had such a better life with me. It was touching and did heal old wounds.... but of course she has three kids by three different men and not married to any of them......
