Good evening fellow members. I posted a thread a few months ago regarding my concern for the accuracy of my shooter. After finding the type of ammo that performs the best, my only problem currently is that I continually have a "flyer" when shooting groups, and my point of impact changes with each group, meaning that I never seem to hit exactly where I'm aiming (see attached picture).

My setup is a Seekins upper and lower, 18" krieger 1:8, larue/harris bipod, bushnell DMR2-i 3.5x21, magpul UBR gen 2 stock with magpul buttpad, and an ergo tactical delux grip. My ammo of choice is the Hornady Match .223 75 grain BTHP.

I've been really happy about everything thus far, but I just want to get more consistent with accuracy/precision. A friend suggested reading up on natural point of aim. I've done that in addition to lots of dry fire practice. But I'm wondering if any of you seasoned lead throwers out there have any advice so I can continue to tighten up my shots. Thanks for any advice.

Before people start telling you how to work up a load. That is normal "good-bad shooting" most of us are guilty of. All I see is shooter interference on a couple of groups and minor common fundamental issues on the rest. If you really want some cheap but excellent training then sign up for the online training offered here. Lowlight is good on the fundamentals. It will pay for itself through wasted ammo. Your target there will make a good exercise on what the shooter is doing on each group. Keep that image as you progress through the fundamentals to look back on as you get better.

Ok, good deal. I’ve re-read some articles on adjusting parallax. I’m pretty sure I’ve got it correct, but I’m gonna readjust in the morning.

Where could I find the online training here? I’m assuming its in one of the forums, so I’ll start looking. Thanks so far for the help guys.
