I would buy a dedicated upper in 22LR to go on your AR15. They are a lot better option instead of buying a 22LR AR copy. I have a Tactical Solutions upper and I love it. I also hear a lot of good things about Nordic Components' uppers. </div></div>
Sorry, but I wasn't implying that you are a 'poser'. It's just an expression.
On the other hand....
What I'm about to tell you isn't 100% verifiable, but it's enough for me to be skeptical of Tactical Solutions.
I'm starting to find out things about them, that many may not care about, but to some buyers it is important. For one, they claim that they produce all of their own parts and machine their own barrels. This may not be necessarily true. A good friend of mine found a company in China that produces the exact same component that Tactical Solutions sells as their Ruger 22/45 Pac-Lite barrel. Then, when you call TactSol they tell you that they won't be ready until the middle of July. Even though they only have a company profile that states that they employ a whopping 8 people!
Tell me how 8 people could possibly keep up with the high end demand that these barrels have without employing an outside machinist. They can't. So, that would lead me to believe that Tactical Solutions IMPORTS their barrels from China and marks them with US Import serial numbers. Hence the 2 month wait before 'production' is caught up. In all reality, they're probably sitting on a dock somewhere in San Diego waiting to pass customs.
Again, not 100% provable, and if you asked I'm sure they'd deny it. After all, they don't have to tell the truth.
Here's an example of a Winchester branded product that is made in China. You'd be surprised!
