I know it's difficult to take, watching a company streamlining, but in the long run, it's best. There were options we each liked, but those were not the choices of the majority. A company can't go off on tangents providing services that aren't profitable.
Personally, I'm also thankful that most of their 'useable' lineup is intact. I may not have wanted some options but it's easier for them to include those features, such as dropping the st-6 (6x only) in favor of the SR6 (1.5-6x), that allow for some standardization. Standardization in the long run will save cost.
Even in their 'standardized forms' USO is at the top of the heap as far as quality scopes go, IMO.
