All other characteristics aside, has anyone compared these in just low light?

I’m trying to find one or even something better that’s a 400 yard and under scope.

Never tried a polar yet.
I hunt a location where I over look a river bottom full of cotton woods and it’s just so hard to see deer at times. No issues with the binos, but once the scopes on them, it can be difficult with the old eyes.

Thank you.

I've compared TT and ZCO before, TT and ZCO pretty much neck and neck with regard to low light performance but I'd say ZCO has an edge when it comes to flare. Speaking of Henny and specific to the Hensoldt 4-16x56, this is pretty much known as the low light king as well as the eyebox king for this mag range, few scopes can challenge it even to this day (maybe the Schmidt Polar T with regard to low light performance). The new Steiner T6Xi 3-18x56 has maybe the closest in forgiving eyebox but optically I think the Hensoldt still has an edge in some areas, but the T6Xi is so well rounded that it's hard not to recommend especially for the price (if you are a member of ExpertVoice.com it is worth checking out there first).

I just became a member there and cannot see a price for the t6xi as in it is not available to me. Any tips?

What Glassaholic said has been my personal experience, having owned and hunted with all 4. The ZC420 and T6Xi are what remain with me now. I'm opting to use a Premier LT over a Tangent on a hunting rifle, just so I don't feel bad for it...but no loss at low light. And as much as I dearly love Henny's, the elevation travel limitations ultimately swung me away from it...again, LL performance was awesome.

Are you saying the T6 XI competes in low light with the ZCO and the Henny?

I wouldn't say IQ is as good, but ability to reach exit pupil saturation and hold it right up to darkness...it'll blow your hair back at half to a 3rd of the cost. Plus I like the MSR2 and turret lockers. So its a combo of features I like, without having to give up low light performance. The ZCo is better, but it came at a cost and "better" gets harder and harder (for me) to adequately measure at that end.

I know you're saying "all other things aside" but that's not realistic. In that case, I'd maybe use a fixed power or something.

Mimics my experience, the Steiner doesn't have the contrast and clarity (color, saturation and pop) that more expensive optics provide, but for overall brightness it is hard to beat and for the price it cannot be beat (by anything I am aware of on the market right now). I wish illumination was brighter so the MSR2 was more "usable" at 3x but plenty will not find reason to complain, it's more about personal preference.

Did you go through the "test your knowledge" section, I forget what they call it but basically you have to watch a bunch of marketing material from Steiner and answer certain questions and get a certain percentage right before you start seeing prices. Just going off memory here.

Also, if you literally just signed up, it may take a few days for EV to authenticate your credentials before they approve your membership, that may also be hindering your ability to see pricing.
