Hey guys, know I dont post here much, but alot you who post on other boards have probably seen me post, thought this would be something you guys would be interested in.

TVNC had me scout around this years shot show to check out the latest and greatest new items. Lots of neat stuff out this year, especially in the class 1 civilian legal laser arena.

I will be putting up info and pics as the show progresses.

First off, L3/Insight has finally decided to release a class 1 civilian legal version the atpial/PEQ15. Release TBD, price TBD, it hasnt shown up at the show yet, but I will get pics when it does. It will not have the illuminator, but will have visable and class 1 IR lasers.

For reference here is the Mil version TNVC had on display:

Not only that, but it can be sent to wilcox and traded out for a laser range finder that displays info on the back. The lasers are also fully adjustable for brightness:

I will try to get some better pics of this as well as its a really interesting unit:

This.

They've been saying they'd have a price point for it 'in a few weeks' for months now. I'd finally like to know if more affordable means 1/3 of the price of the L3 models or 500$ less.

Seeing this stuff, I feel like the old fart saying "man, you kids have no idea how good you have it these days." I remember when PVS-7s were badass and Thermal imagers had refrigerators.

NIVISYS.

They were supposed to have a new cheap (around 4k-ish) thermal on display called the Phoenix put couldnt get it cleared to show in time.

Here is some of their older stuff:

Atilla-750 Ir/vis laser/ illuminator NOT class 1. LE/MIL only, they were talking about possibly doing a class 1 but didnt know for sure with so many others already in the market:
oky3aw.jpg

TACS-M, clips onto PVS-14/mum and beams in thermal to make it a dual system. Pretty cool.
