LR Accubond

yea that will tell alot, if you want to get closer to flesh without gelatin, bundle a bunch of phone books together and soak them for a day, then pull them out and shoot. I was told it was more realistic than water... But whatever you do will be great, just want to see what you find! Thanks!

I have a ton of newspapers i am saving to do testing on the 300 grain berger and 252 grain CE D60 out of my 338 Lapua.

FWIW, Years ago I did some expansion testing with handgun bullets and found that in water the bullet would travel about twice the distance as what manufactures were advertising in 10 percent gelatin. I was firing into a tube of water.

Niles Coyote, how far it penetrates isnt really of interest to me, i am more concerned if they will expand.

MTyotehunter, i agree! I was going to go shooting yesterday but it rained hard all day and is supposed to do the same today

I was finally able to get some of the 190 gr Accubond LR's ordered from an 'in stock' source today. Midsouth had them in stock today and I ordered 200. Hope they turn out to be worth the wait!!

Thought I'd let ya'll on here know now that I got enough to keep me for a while. Hope I don't burn up 200 bullets working up a load for my .300 Win Mag!
