LWRC REPR match grade barrel?

Several years ago I bought an LWRC REPR and I have never been happy with the accuracy from it. I have considered sending it to a smith and having them spin up a match grade barrel for it. Is this possible? It has LWRC's custom gas block and up receiver so I am not sure if it can be done.
Thoughts or recommendations on who to call?

It can always be done. The question is if you have to remove the old gas block (maybe) and get a custom barrel extension (don't know). I am not an expert in that platform. Is it the piston model?

It is doable, but as the LS200 suggests, it would require a donor barrel for it's GB/Extension, as well as a guide for port placement. Also, the wrench for disassembly.

Not for the faint of heart.

I would call LWRC directly, explain the problem and see what they offer.

This is where I'm at. It has moments of brilliance where it will shoot clover leaves but that is 1 of 10 groups. Otherwise they're 1"-2".

Talked with one of their R & D guys at Shot last year about swapping my 20” over to a Proof barrel. They stated off the record it hadn’t been done but they could change it over. I ask about price and he commented they would just have to get it in the shop and let me know. I did not persue it but would like to have a lighter weight version.

I’ve lost a lot of faint/trust in LWRC. And I repped them for years....QC is not what it use to be.

I found that the REPR's accuracy issues stem in part from how marred the bullet jacket becomes during feeding. The feed ramp is stupid sharp and when you eject a round the effect on the bullet is noticeable. I took polishers to this area in my REPR uppers and noticed a substantial increase in accuracy without any loss of reliable feeding. I'd give that a try before selling it for a loss.

I think they make them now with a Proof barrel.
I had one for years and shot several matches with it.
Mine shot great with 175's. I was really happy with it.

I agree with the decline with QC and customer service.

That said, my lwrc rifles are on point.
