How I've been doing this now for the last couple years. The probing routine borders the absurd and takes almost 5m to run, but they come out nice.

Ripping lever guns apart to thread a muzzle is something I equate to invasive dentistry minus the shot in the gums.

So glad I took the plunge with this machine a few years back. It literally changed everything from a GS perspective. The best part of this machine is the HUGE glass window. It's the ideal "white board" for jotting down notes. Haas gets a shitty review from time to time by some folks, but they nailed that one!

I was fixing to say, I have a German production HK45 Tactical (full size), and it has the German production 16x1 LH threads. I had to order a special booster for my Obsidian 45. Man I love that o-ring design! It keeps the damn can on there, instead of letting it start walking off, like all the RH American threads. 🤦🏼

I've thought about trying to fit an o-ring in that rear thread gap on most of my handguns to see if it will help grip the inside of the booster walls (as to avoid the o-ring affecting flat fitment against the rear should of the threads) to hold it in place for at least a complete magazine without coming loose. 😡 Any idea what size o-rings I would need for a 1/2x28 thread, and a .578x28 thread pitch?
