I talked to the people at remington and you basically get a hold of donna watkins at the bottom of the web page i linked and last time i checked....about 45 days ago you can buy a M24 RIFLE ONLY in 7.62 for about 2950.00 with a 90 day wait/build time. I would take a authentic M24 over a clone anyday and its cheaper.

What s/n range did they start at? Were the early a 6 digit s/n.

I was told mine was one of the first ones the Army got and it was a C prefix. It was certainly rode hard but I am not certain it was one of the first,I never saw any older ones.
