Hunting & Fishing Mag. Cap. for deer in Alabama

I connot find any regulations on magazine capacity of deer hunting with a rifle in Alabama.

I am wanting to be able to hunt with 10 round AI mags so I can just buy the 10 rounders and not 5 rounders.

I tried to find it in the regs as well but couldn't. I thought that it's always been 5.

That was my first thought, but I'm just trying to save some money and just buy 10 round mags.

I wonder if I can but a 10 round mag and only load 5 rounds into it???

I've never read anything on it and I've searched in a half ass way... I figure the game warden will be more than happy to let me know if I ever run across him lol

I think I'll just go ahead and buy the 10 rounders and load up 5.

I'd call the local warden's office and ask. 5 minute phone call could save you a few hundred bucks in citations.

I wouldn't just load up 5 rounds in a 10 rounder. I would take shaggy's advice and give the game warden a call. How is the game warden suppose to know that you only loaded 5 and not shot the other 5 already?
