Magazine for PRS

If you're shooting 6/6.5x47 then Id steer away from MDT 's mags. I had a 6.5x47 that I tried them on, and their internal "rib" that runs the center of the mag to help stabilize .308 and Creedmoor cartridges, sat right at the shoulder, and would cause any rounds over 2-3 to bind and get stuck. It would work if you could use a spacer to push them forward slightly, but for all the hassle, just get an AICS or Accurate Mag. They both work great with very little tweaking.
For .308 based cartridges though, I love my MDT Mags.

I almost hate to say it, and don't have any experience with the x47 in them but for a .260 the magpul AICS style mags run better than any metal mag I have currently.

Will be running a 6x47 lapua for PRS competition and need to decided on best magazine/action setup.

thoughts?
Maybe ask the manufacturer of the action, or bottom metal, or stock you want to buy what their recommendation is?

Your bottom metal and action is going to dictate what mags you run. I've used AI and Magpul AICS pattern mags in setups designed for AICS mags and all was well.
