Had a rifle built by a smith 2.5 years ago and a stock on order 2 years ago this month. Long story short two years was too long waiting on my stock with being told every 4months it would be 16 more weeks, so I demanded a refund. I've made my mind up on going with the new Elite series stock by manners. They didn't have any Elite mcs-t stocks in for demo so they sent me the original standard fill stock to see how it fits, be here Tuesday.
Question, how do you like the handling, balance, strength, and over all weight of the new Elite series over the standard? I will be shooting from a prone position off big pod 50% of the time. I was told it will shave a full pound off the finished weight in the new elite series. Which sounds nice other than the up charge amount. Lol.
I will be using this rifle as a primary LR hunting rifle with the normal range practice. My shooting is mostly prone with some stand hunting. I looked at the EH2 elite hunter and considered it, but the flat forearm was what sold me on the MCS-T since in some stands I have a flat shooting surface for a prop.
Opinions and pictures of this stock, standard or elite.
Thanks,
Brandon
