I love dogs, the bigger the better..........you can throw your arms around the big ones and give them a hug......
All I can say is that he is a F***ing liar, you can't even see another house from my farm!
Best dog I’ve ever known. Got the cancer and died a few years ago. Miss him every day.

We’ve had 5 greyhounds (still have 2) and love the breed very much. Our next dog comes home in a couple more weeks. Going to be an interesting adventure.
Griffs are amazing. I currently own two. Owned many other breeds but these are hands down my favorite. Extremely smart and loyal.
I was told once, you will know you are in heaven when every one of the dogs you have owned runs up to great you.
it’s kinda scary to me to think about it. How emotionally overwhelming it would be. I can’t even comprehend how long it would take me to compose myself enough to be able to enjoy the moment. It would be incredible. Heavenly.
Some asshole in Texas threw this big dope out of a truck and I had him flown out to Cali and adopted him. I have to admit taking him out of the crate that first day was a bit of a gut check, but everybody who met Bogey loved him and he loved everyone. It was like having a 130 pound cat. Sweetest animal I've ever met. We used to throw him pieces of bread and he'd jump up and take it in one massive chomp. Loved to sit in your lap. Still miss him.

I love all dogs and different breeds have their place depending on your life style, location and needs. But for a protection dog I like the GSD. Especially the Russian GSD, they were taken out of Germany in 45 and bred the same (not for show) since then. So they are bigger and don't have swooping back hips or hip issues. The backs are pretty straight to the tail.
He is always watching my back and I dare anyone, I mean anyone to try to sneak up on me in the SSV, house or on a lead. Very loyal and intelligent dog, he is watching 100% of the time when we are on, a little creepy sometimes
You will not get out of your car if you come out to the farm until I come out and release him, then he brings you a ball. Follows me everywhere and I catch him in the woods watching me behind a tree. Great dog around my son and has chased off cougars around him.

Soy boys do not pass (picture of a place on the boulder), they ran their mouth (anti blues life matters stuff in the parking lot) so I placed him on the trail head and they couldn't get in

Introduced my almost 8 year old lab to the boat a few weeks ago. She tried to retrieve the first smallie that jumped, had to fish her out of the lake. She has to see what is going on at all times.
Took her in to get two spots of cancer off her chest this last Monday. They also cut out a cracked molar that has been giving her problems. She is doing great so far. Never had a dog get so excited to go to the vet.
***Edit*** Kimber sheared off two molars on deer antlers we used to give her to chew on. Think twice before giving antler as a chew toy.

Looks like the white q tip is a GP? We have an 8 month old.... they are stubborn but sweet
Yes, a GP female. She is about 13 weeks right now. Stubborn but really a great personality. Always wants to be with you and she does well with the kids and our ACD too.
I use to dirt bike on a sheep farm in Petaluma, CA that had a number of GP's. Always great dogs to be around. Very friendly and always did great around little kids. One of the older males actually attacked a mountain lion that was by the house and that mountain lion did not fair too well in the encounter.
Mine is very mouthy and likes to guard the house against squirrels. She is sweet too and loves people.... they need to be busy to be happy

The wife and I are empty nesters. The most recent family dogs are now gone. We've talked about getting a new one (Bernese Mountain Dog) but we plan on traveling and it wouldn't be fair to the dog. All of ours have been good, but our favorite was "Beauregard", who was a 180 pound Newfoundland. Just an amazingly loyal and committed friend. He was our best buddy.
I'd like to have another Newfie or Berner before I check out, but we're going to travel for a bit, then settle down. Maybe once that happens, we'll jump back into the pool. Hard living without them.....
My wife and I got a Berner 22 months ago, she is such a joy in our lives........you need to get one......they are wonderful dogs........

NO I get it, I train dogs, K9, French Ring sports, I realize, it was you shared a youtube paid trainer"whatever" but all the work she put in it was impressive, training was simple and effective, You shared the video Jason , Thanks.
Been 2 months and it hasn't gotten any less painful. We had to put down our first dog, Quest, in early September. 14 year old Border Collie. Dog had an amazing life.
