We laughed our asses off!!He looks guilty AF.![]()
There is no better strictly companion dog than a pug. I've had 4 now and sadly just put my 16 year old girl down a short while back. Pugs aren't good for anything at all, accept loving the family. Sweetest dog I've ever seen anywhere.Newest member of the family and growing like a weed or a fat little trucker who snores loud enough to wake the dead. She is so good with both our kids. If the toddler is heading down the drive she will go steer him back to the house.GS are always great with babies
We had pugs growing up and you are 100% right. There is no better strictly companion dog than a pug. I've had 4 now and sadly just put my 16 year old girl down a short while back. Pugs aren't good for anything at all, accept loving the family. Sweetest dog I've ever seen anywhere.
You're raising them with right values. The girls rescued another pit bull; he was going to be put down at the animal shelter today if not adopted. Two years old, WAY too much energy....I'd probably have way too much energy too, escaping death row.
Now we have five dogs...I thought cat ladies were crazy.
Cowkid2 and "Tru".

I try. They enjoy kicking my ass in shooting competitions too...guess I'm doing ok.You're raising them with right values.
Another picture of my goofball. He had a seizure last night, it's the first one since May when we started him on phenobarbital. He was having them once a month before the meds. He's gained some weight since he started the medication so I'm gonna have to put him on a diet and get him some more exercise. Poor little guy can't catch a breakView attachment 7929295
Yes, Pits are sweethearts. The first one Cowkid1 adopted scared me a little at first, but she's awesome!Pits are sweethearts. They get a bad rep.
It's debatable if my boxer has some pit in her, but the vet pointed out they were bred from pits anyway.

Yeah I got to keep a foot out of the blanket too.Received our first cold front, he’s just a baby!

My boy got to the point where he was on meds daily and then LASER. Though in the end either colitis or cancer got him. He quit playing in the water about 12-18 months before he passed. More because I didn't have access to a pool or calm water. Was able to get in a few dove hunts with Kimber last weekend. She will be 11 in November and is having some joint issues in her spine. She is getting Previcox and Tramidol daily now. I realized yesterday that she has dropped almost 10 lbs in the last year. This may be her last dove season.
We went to a local pool a few weeks ago for their dog day. She didn’t want me to stop throwing the tennis ball!View attachment 7950910View attachment 7950911View attachment 7950912View attachment 7950913View attachment 7950914View attachment 7950915
Was curious what you found out? Hopefully nothing serious. My little pup woke up today almost unable to walk. Called the vet and they can see her at 5:50pm. She's laying around but when she does get up, it' looks like she's favoring he left rear leg. She went to bed acting fine. No injury yesterday that we know about. She's got her tail tucked and that's not like her.
All she does it lay around.
Hopefully the vet will have not so serious news for us.

Had to take her in last week. They found her small intestine was all inflamed. Started her on two stomach meds, amoxicillian, and switched her to gabapentin from Tramadol. The vet sent some medicated canned food home and she is eating again. She gained 5lbs between Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning. Took her out and shot 10 dove Saturday morning despite the cold front that moved through. My boy got to the point where he was on meds daily and then LASER. That's great news. Yes, we changed my boy to Gabapentin as well as it doesn't have the issues most NSAIDS have on dogs and people. I hope for continued improvement.
