Rifle Scopes March Tactical scopes advice

I had a 3-24x42.
Tiny. Light. Turrets with great tactile feel and the simplest zero stop ever. Great glass.
The new 3-24x52 looks awesome, the increase in exit pupil should improve the brightness at the top end magnification (one of the downfalls of the 42mm model) and eyebox.

If March listens to their customers, the v2 5-40 will have .1 mil clicks and will be pretty tough to improve upon.

Thanks Joe

Its a lot cash lay out for a scope so I'm trying make sure I do this one right. I'm gonna put it atop a 40x in a 300 wm I just purchased. I saw where Jim Kelbly asked for input on how to improve the 5-40 and saw the complaints for the cross hairs being a bit thick as well.

Got a link to the 3-24x52? I found a price list but no other specs.

I have a 5-40x56 FFP in mil-rad sitting in front of me which I am evaluating before deciding whether to purchase it. Right now I can't think of a reason not to purchase it after giving careful consideration to Steiner, Kahles, Premier and S&B. Eye relief is generous although the eye box itself is a bit tight although I have not mounted it up to a rifle yet or put it on a steady platform, it's certainly not a deal breaker though. Glass quality is stunning and the resolution is phenomonal, I could make out individual leaves in trees 400-500 metres from my house without trying - I could use it at 40x with the sun setting and no noticeable loss of brightness. Contrast is not quite as good as Kahles or S&B, but it is by no means bad with colour appearing neutral. Turret adjustments offer the most precise feel of any I have tried and the parallax adjustment is excellent, able to focus down to 10 metres easily. Pricewise it is a little dearer than Steiner and Kahles in Australia, but about the same as S&B.

As discussed already, looks like .1 value mil-rad clicks will be available in the middle of next year and the only other thing I would change is the illumination function. Rather than a push button system which cycles through 4 brightness settings and then off, I'd prefer either a reostat system like Kahles or the system that Steiner use with an off setting between each illumination position, that would make it the best all-round tactical scope on the market IMO. Oh yeah, March should have their own flip-up caps in February as I understand it.
