This has been out for a minute, but I haven't heard much about it. Does anyone have one? Any reason not to give a shot? It's a little cheaper than the dillon and looks to be significantly narrower in diameter. Just curious why it doesn't come up much.

The problem for me would be the chamfering and deburring of the case mouths. I guess for some, that's not an issue in any way . . . ???

I’m planning on using a Lyman M die to put a slight flare on the case mouths. Hopefully this will also knock off any internal burrs. When the cartridge goes through the crimp die it should smooth over any roughness on the outside of the case mouths. I haven’t tried this yet but I’m planning on it as soon as I decide on a case trimmer.

Getting a Bosch router, and getting it all set up properly is the best option out there. Little more expensive, but way better results. Dont have my phone on me right now, but I have a list of all the necessary components to make it work. I have (3) RT1500s, before i found out about the Bosch. Now i run a Bosch doing 300bo. I cut the neck off 223 on a custom chopper I made, (Think Giraurd annealer, with a HF chop saw/blade at bottom instead of flame) and then run it on 1050 with 300bo trim/sizer

I never cut the neck off using my rt1500 and never had the desire. Just don't have the time. Figure the Bosch should have no problem.

I use another not really popular power trimmer, the tall hornady one....looks a little like a drill press.

For me trimming is just another spot for me to stop and check the brass, I have fondled it several times at this point, but I always check it again to see if I missed anything along the line. I also clean the primer pocket at this time, does this gizmo not do that, I have skipped this step before and had a pocket so dirty it would not seat, so now I clean each and every bit of brass. Just part of the process.

I don't shoot the volume that the speed would be an issue for me.
