It’s a chevron style reticle which is easy to find and it has mil dots, 5 on each side for wind. Works great.

Are you in line for the new RAPTAR-Xe yet?Bundle is sold.
We might have one more cable coming. Contact us if interested.
Are you in line for the new RAPTAR-Xe yet?
They are already in production, and should be pushing out very soon. I know some have already been sold.We test every WMLRF we can get our hands on. Wilcox delivery dates are typically 1-2 years out from announcement, and delivery after the initial batch is spotty.
Will give you a ring tomorrow or Friday.

I'm patiently waiting...I feel like I need to test out the triumvirate of current WLRF all together.
All good. Here's what I've been using so far (two I got from you)
So now, naturally, I need to get a RAPTAR Xe to see if it's an improvement over the Mars-c because...reasons.
- Vortex is a chunky boy only good for daytime use
- 10 year old RAPTAR ES sans solver doesn't count
- MRF Xe is slim, fast, and works great at night with a bolt gun
- Mars-c is similarly slim, fast, and the IR laser/flood make it useful on an AR platform
That's the lord's work you're doing there sir!All good. Here's what I've been using so far (two I got from you)

@SkyScrapin what’s up with the Mars-mc?
I like to know this as well. Was there an update to fix DOF on the MARS at the present?
Hey Sir! Let me get some clarification. Does the MARS-Mc have an IR laser you can use with Nv. Is that a thing or is it simply the medium range LRF from the Lc?MARS-Mc is identical to MARS-Lc, but with a 905nm LRF.
Really strong contender for LE & hunters.
In practice, the MARS-Mc is at least twice as good as the spec states pending ideal conditions & environment. At night, even better.
I have the Lc but I thought the Mc was supposed to be the version that has an IR laser for NV use. Guess I misread that.MARS is MIL version with FP laser illum and 1550nm LRF
MARS-c is low power CIV version of MARS
MARS-lc is 1550nm LRF
MARS-mc is 905nm LRF

MARS-c Voodoo integration is <chef’s kiss>. You get those numbers directly in your FOV and a chevron aiming point.
Is there any noticeable time delay between the range and firing solution displayed on the MARS and then displayed on the thermal sight screen?
A NV/Thermal noob here.I think I need a different mount - you can see the alignment is a bit off and that's 100% play in the Wilcox flip-mount![]()
Yeah, weird. I read a bunch of comments about "so-and-so device's mount is loose" etc and I just don't get it. I'm sure there's some decent reason?Beats the hell out of me. This is actually the first clip-on device I’ve had issues with mounting. It kind of surprises me that the Voodoo-M ships with a dovetail vs direct QD mount. No one is obviously helmet mounting it, but being able to pop-it in/out of a flip mount is pretty handy. I just would have thought that wouldn’t be the default route, but what the hell do I know?

@rlsmith1 here's what the data from a MARS-mc to the Voodoo-M looks like. This is from within my garage, so no range, but you can see at 5x there's the elevation : windage : range (strangely only in meters). You can see the row of horizontal dots that shows your elevation hold, and that chevron moves laterally based on your windage value.

I push Range on the MARS and see the solution in about 1/2 a secondHow long does it take for the solution to show up?
Why only daytime ?Vortex is a chunky boy only good for daytime use
Thank you sir!Yes, it can take the place of the Kestrel for env data (useful) or you can stream data to the MARS (not as useful). Generally the only reason to stream the data is to get realtime wind vectors, but I find that holding wind is more practical.
