The next 600 yard practice is July 24th on their website. On the left hand side click on 2012 match calendar. The calendar only states 600 yard prone practice. </div></div>
I shot this once, nice facility with pits and radios to talk from the line to the pit crew. Its kind of a bowling alley with tall trees on either side. From the one time I was there - dead calm - wind is limited on its affect when you fire.
The guys were very friendly and accepting of me being there. Actually the more bodies the better as long as the final number is even so you can pair everybody - one to pull targets one to shoot the target.
Down side - I showed up with my 240 round SPAM can expecting to fire some rounds. This is truly practice for the guys I was with on my one morning and their intent was to fire a few groups of a fresh batch of reloads for an upcoming match. When they were ready to pack it up I wasnt into my second box of twenty. I'm not ungracious for the opportunity and appreciate them letting me be there as a guest I just misunderstood their intent. If you go and there is a member there wanting to spend some time you will really enjoy it. I need to try it again, maybe even look into what a membership will cost but I like Harvard so much with its personal responsibility rules and great facilities that I'm reluctant to spend money on joining another club.
