Loaded up some 257 Roy bullets with H1000 last night from 72.5-75.5 grains and used BR2's instead of 250's. Is that too much powder for the BR2's?

You are going to have to try one to see if it will go off - be ready for a hangfire. That said, I use CCI BR2 in 7mm Rem Mag with my last batch of AA3100, with great results. However, with a lot less powder (R-19), I was getting hangfires with CCI primers in 6.5 Rem Mag. So try it.
