Here’s the rub:
Ultimately (i.e. in the real world) Liberal ideology (limited government, maximum liberty to the citizen) is no threat to leftist/progressives like BBBB and Avi. There is no threat of force against them or threat to confiscate the fruits of their labors over political differences. Government exists to protect their liberty, period. Nothing more.
The entire ideology of Leftist/Progressives like Avi and BBBB are rooted in and rely upon the use of and threat of force against the governed in all areas no matter what it is. From regulations to thought (hate) crimes, there is only power, and those who either wield it or are victims of it.
My morality is thousands of years old. It’s not some product of an earlier generation to be discarded as some failed experiment, but these barely pubescent “wise men” write as if they had, or were even drawing upon, some moral authority which is as laughable as they are.
The truth is that that you cannot advocate to silence and hurt people you don’t like and disagree with, or steal what you haven’t earned and that doesn’t belong to you, and still BE a good person, much less claim moral authority for your crimes and the approval of those who commit crimes in your name.
These guys are not clowns because of the arrogant way they try to assume moral authority. They’re clowns for doing that while advocating for the most base impulses of humanity and calling it virtue. They’re not clowns for “virtue signaling”. They’re clowns because the “virtue” they signal is pure vice, selfishness, and an utter lack of morality while trying to lecture people as if they were pure as the driven snow. People so emerged in self delusion cannot be expected to either carry in an adult conversation, or take themselves any less serious than bone cancer.
I don’t blame anyone for wanting to confront that. It’s just really hard to tell if their motive is straight evil, or they’re really THAT ignorant and misguided. The vast majority of them are useful idiots, so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt.
