McM A5 ergonomics to Manners?

Going manners for my shorty .308 and was curious as to which manners has similar ergonomics to the A5? I'm thinking i want a T2A but was wondering how thick the palm swell on the pistol grip is? Not sure that it matters i rarely grip the pistol grip as i'm shooting on my A5. Guess what i'm trying to ask is it really that different switching between the two?

Not really the T2 might be a bit smaller in the pistol grip to the A5. I don't like butt hooks and prefer the tapered butt of the T2. much faster to make elevation changes

No, its not.

As a A5 owner I've slipped behind a Manners T4A and while I noticed the slightly larger grip (a hair bigger/longer than even the T2, I believe) it caused no issues whatsoever operating the rifle.

^this I have an A5 and my buddy has the T4A on a GAP and there is not a hell of alot of difference. Both real good stocks I think the Manners is the lighter of ther 2.

No, its not.

going from an A5 to a t2 was a big negative for me. The t4 grip will be a lot more like the A5. The t2 is shorter and slimmer. Ive got big NBA hands and I love the big palm swell and length of the A5 and T4. Both are very comfortable.

I've got tiny hands but don't mind the palm swell on the A5 too much.

IMO - The A5 and T4A are very close in feel...not identical, but close. Major difference between them for my purposes is that the A5 has a butthook and is canted out to the toe. The T4A is not canted. I don't have a T2, but it has no butthook and is canted quite a bit. The cant can make a big difference in elevation control due to how the stock rides a rear bag/rest, depending on the type front rest you're using.

My hands are small to but I like the way my A5s feel.

I prefer my A5s to any other stocks I've owned or tried, but the T4A is very close as I mentioned. For me, the A5 pistol grip is just a bit more comfortable. I can't state this with certainty as I haven't actually measured them, but it seems like the A5 pistol grip radius is a bit smaller. It definitely fits my hand a tick better than the T4A, but it may also be a "shape" issue, rather than overall size. The foregrips are also a bit different in shape, but I primarily shoot F-TR from a bipod, so I'm not too concerned about the foregrip.

This is exactly how I feel with the A5 relative to the T2.

The T2 isn't bad by any means, the A5 just feels a little "better" in my hand.

As long as they're similar it's not going to be an issue i don't think. I love the forearms of the T2A which looks extremely similar to the A5 as you mentioned.
