It's stuck up on my reply forever though!Dude I'm way off base, I thought this was pertaining to the xlr magnesium. I'll edit my comment.
X2 - they are really missing out on all 10 of us![]()
Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a lightweight arca rail from https://www.salmonriversolutions.com/shop/ and skip the carbon fiber rail.Let's get some pictures of that integrated arca please. And perhaps I'm an idiot (ask my wife or my girlfriend) but did I read the the arca would be carbon? How is that going to wear against me sliding my bipod or tripod clamp?
Carbon fiber can have perfectly reasonable wear properties; I wouldn’t be too concerned about that. They’ll probably bias some fibers in the clamp direction and use a harder resin with post-polish.Let's get some pictures of that integrated arca please. We will likely do a left-hand version, but make sure you leave us a request!Sucks for lefties....Should of made it ambi
We will see what happens, however, if you want folding it is best to get it up front.@MDT_OFFICIAL will the folding section be purchasable afterwards as an upgrade if one was to not pony up the extra $200 for it up front?
So what would be the current lead time if we preorder now vs waiting until an official release date is announced?
Also what is the max OAL when folded? Trying to determine the barrel length required to get it to fit in a backpack.
Is there mlok at the 12 o clock of what looks like could be an nvg hood? If I can mount nvg’s on this, I’m buying two
If you order now, then you get your name in the queue and it'll ship out according to order date once they have officially released. If you wait until they are officially released, you'll just be further down the queue assuming that more people backorder between now and then, which is likely. So what would be the current lead time if we preorder now vs waiting until an official release date is announced?

There is M-lok up there and the height as been optimised for the R700 SA RH inlet to co-witness with NV optics! Would make a sweet critter slaying rig with NV optics. Is there mlok at the 12 o clock of what looks like could be an nvg hood? If I can mount nvg’s on this, I’m buying two
Same basic mechanism, so you will be good to go!Would this chassis be compatible with the SRS-XF and the SRS-XF folding hardware? I would like a lighter stock, but greatly prefer right side folding
Nice, it's already up and ready for order!Nice. I'm gonna pick one long action and one short action with the SRS-XF hardware whenever your customized stock page starts listing the HTN26. Thanks for the replies.
I don't see an option to order it with the SRS-XF buttstock, am I missing something?Nice, it's already up and ready for order!

Oh gotcha, I think I miscommunicated, I'm looking to get the carbon chassis with the standard folder that comes with the ACC. Will that be an option? It might be, it should look like the image below and you select folding for the folding hardware. Keep in mind, this is a new stock, and it only shares a similar mechanism to the SRS-XF.
-Anthony
Likely not on the website, you will be able to do it separately, but the SRS-XF on the HNT-26 chassis would likely cause the balance to be quite strange.Oh gotcha, I think I miscommunicated, I'm looking to get the carbon chassis with the standard folder that comes with the ACC. Might need to add a 30” Varmint-contour barrel to balance it outLikely not on the website, you will be able to do it separately, but the SRS-XF on the HNT-26 chassis would likely cause the balance to be quite strange.

I was thinking more like 26'' heavy palma with a 9 inch can, but same sameMight need to add a 30” Varmint-contour barrel to balance it out![]()
Any pictures of one with the built in arca rail ?View attachment 7561398

Not quite yet, but if you have an order placed you will be e-mailed the tracking number.Any update on a more narrow timeline on when these are expected to ship?
It depends on when you placed the order, without that it's difficult to say. October shouldn't be an issue though. So I finally decided to pull the trigger on a new hunting rifle build, if we order now would we still be in the first batch and if not what would be the estimated lead time? Hoping to have the rifle for hunting season in October.
I haven’t yet placed the order, I was going to do it today. It depends on when you placed the order, without that it's difficult to say. October shouldn't be an issue though.

In their fixed forms the MDT is 2 oz lighter than the mag XLR based on the published weights. The folding mechanisms look pretty similar in weight. XLR says theirs weights 4.9 oz, and MDT doesn't say at all.how does the complete weight with folding stock compare to the XLR Magnesium?
Something else to keep in mind is that the XLR comes with an Arca forend already. Adding that on to the MDT will likely make it heavier. In their fixed forms the MDT is 2 oz lighter than the mag XLR based on the published weights. MDT says weight with folder and arca forend is 31oz.
XLR comes with Arca built in and 4.5 oz folder is 32.5oz.
It depends on what action length you mean. If you mean a Defiance Deviant in the standard medium action (standard Remington 700 SA footprint), then you will be good to go. If you mean the XM (medium-length action), then there isn't an option right now in the HNT-26, but we will likely add one in the future! Is this compatable with the defiance deviant medium, for 6.5prc?
Ordered, now get off the hide and go make it!It depends on what action length you mean. You shouldn't have any issue with a Kelby, but we haven't tested it.Is it compatible with the Kelbly's Atlas Tactical short action trigger hanger?
How are we looking on the left-handed option?
(And I apologise I was bit rude in my earlier post about this ... just keen that you don't miss out on this 11% of your potential market!)
Likely it will happen, but we are still making sure the demand is there. So any left-handed shooter who is interested in an HNT-26, please take the time and fill out our product request form. While 11% of shooters are left-handed, we need everyone to show the demand and interest in a chassis. It's always tough since we push for left-hand options, but if there are only 1 - 2 requests for a chassis in left-hand (and you have to look at those numbers with a bit of skepticism), it makes it harder to pitch. The more demand we see in our official channels makes a product that more much likely to happen. So please do!

If/when you guys make an inlet for the medium (XM) length defiance, would you make a Flush 3rd mag that also works with the Tikka Long action?
Thanks Anthony,
Just went to do this ... but that link doesn't include the HNT as one of the options.
Being super-helpful, I just clicked randomly on one of the other chassis, which I know may not help in this case, but at least lodges another lefty for you ...![]()
