The tendency with homeless people is they use the hospitals as a way out of the streets temporarily, just go into a ER say I have chest pain and can’t breathe. They’re in. (Try it).
A drain to the health system which our tax dollars pay for.

Homeless people buy booze from their daily panhandling, gets drunk, passes out and then gets transported to the hospital by EMS. They stay in hospitals a long time because they go into withdrawals and the hospital can’t give them alcohol to stop withdrawals. A simple beer would stop the withdrawals but its not being done. Instead they linger in hospitals draining the healthcare systems.

These are examples of Americans that are homeless. Illegals are a different story.

At this point in the COVID fight hospital beds are needed. Hopefully we don’t get inundated in a few days with COVID patients, but that may be wishful thinking.
