I have a Mega Arms .308 barrel at 16". This is my first AR build so, I called Mega and their recommendation was Lantac brand BCG's but only because that what they were using in their personal rifles. What are your recommendations on the best BCG for that barrel? Are any specific BCGs going to hinder accuracy? Are any going to help out with accuracy? Thanks for the help.

Im pretty sure Rubber City makes the bolt that mega supplies with their 6.5cm barrel. I have a 20" mega barrel and run an AIM nib BCG. Shoots better than me...
I contacted them and asked this question.
Any idea when you will be shipping 6.5 creedmore barrels. What lenght is the gas system. Is the bolt that comes with the barrel a rubber city?
Mega responded with two emails.
1):We will be sending the remaining 6.5CM barrels on order out by months end. After that, that product will be discontinued. Look for the remainder at Rainier Arms, JSE Surplus, Primary Arms, Rifle Gear and Oakland Tactical.
2):In addition to my last email. The barrel is rifle length for a gas system, and the bolt is a .069" from Azimuth.

I have 2 MEGA MATEN uppers, one in 6.5 creedmoor and one in 308. I would recommend you get a "High pressure Bolt" from either Rubber City Armory or JP rifles. I personally have one of each in each upper to prevent pierced primers and pressure related problems common in large frame ARs. The JP rifle has 1000+ creedmoor rounds and the RCA has about 700+ of 308 and I have yet to have a stopage, pierced primer or malfunction in either.
