Midway USA shipping problem?

    Has anyone else ordered anything within the last two weeks, that still hasn't shown up? When ordered everything was available. Ordered on 31 October over $700.00 worth of stuff, got charged on the first, site says shipped. Finally called today and was told that a message was sent to shipping manager and would have an answer this afternoon, that I would be called back as the stuff hasn't shipped yet and they don't know why. After not receiving a call, I called at around 4:45pm CST. I was then told after being put on hold until 4:54pm CST that I would have to wait until tomorrow to get an answer. I asked for the shipping manager's number directly and the guy wouldn't give it to me. I then told the guy that I would think that after having a customer's money for over a week and his merchandise, that is available to ship, hasn't shipped that the priority should be getting him an answer. But he said that the Shipping manager wouldn't have time to get an answer as it was already 5:00pm CST as it was really 4:54pm CST. So again has anyone else had this issue lately?

    I ordered from Midway because of their customer service, quick shipping, and the promo codes. But this doucher really pissed, me off. Anyone that knows me knows that I am pretty level headed, and easy to get along with, but damn this really urks me, that this mutha fucker talked to me like I had no other choice but to wait. Mind you, that they had half a day to not only get an answer, but to get my shit out the door at least!

    I just placed an order for a Jewell Rem 700 trigger but is is backordered and they don't know when they will get one in. But its been about 8 months or so from my last purchase from them. Last item was shipped on time as usual from them. Sorry to hear your having trouble with them.

    Sounds like something slipped through the cracks with your order. I placed two orders that same day to use the coupon codes before they expired, and they were shipped out just fine. I've made a dozen orders with Midway and have had nothing but flawless service, but mistakes can always happen. I'm sure they'll take care of you.

    I ordered 2 different things last week from midway. A rifle case and stock. Already got them both. They are a good bunch of people at midway im sure they will make it right.

    I generally don't have any issues with them either. That is why I am a repeat customer, but I would think that this would be serious enough to try and get a customer the equipment they ordered.

    There is no tracking number. They have admitted that the orde hasn't shipped yet, however the website shows that it shipped.

    I do realize that things happen and slip through the cracks, but when they have over $700 of my money, the equipment in stock, of which they say should have shipped long ago, and a major reason I ordered thru them( in stock & ready to ship next day), there is no reason they couldn't get my merchandise shipped out to me yesterday and find the answer to what happened later.

    I usually enjoy the shopping experience with Midway but this has my stomach twisted in knots. Overdramatic I know but " I am fuckin pissed!"

    I know it isn't the company as a whole. And it's just a mistake made by only a few. I am also sure that I will order from them in the future. So no one else has run into this issue with Midway USA before?

    I have never had an issue with them either and always get an email from Larry Potterfield thanking me for my order.

    I worked in retail for 6 years, and sometimes things slip through the cracks. When they do, there is a specific SOP that they must follow to resolve the situation. There are also specific people that perform specific tasks relating to your order. I am not condoning the lack of attention to your case, but it can be difficult for one of their call center puppets to resolve your entire case start to finish.

    If it were me and I was waiting on the stuff, I'd be pretty pissed too. Instead of asking the call center gal to fix everything, I would politely request that a second order be shipped out priority (since they have your money) and they can just forget the first order. They haven't shipped it yet anyway, right?

    The only problem that I have had with midway was they would some times ship to my po box using my street address. This has happened more than once. But over all they are a great bunch of people and do try to make it right. But being human they do screw up, sorry you had a bad experence with midway.

    I order from them all the time and have always gotten excellent service. On my most recent order, some bore cleaner leaked in the box and soaked a bunch of stuff. They replaced it all without hesitation.

    Go up the chain and make sure the powers that be are aware of this stumble.

    They are top notch in my book. Thousands of dollars spent at various times and have ordered many items.
    My brother-in-law has ordered from them for many many years and is the one who put me on to them.
    I would say this is just a glitch probably due to personnel.
    Ever once in a while a person has a bad day and screws up and sometimes we are the recipient of their mistake.
    I'm sure they will take good care of you though.
    Just be patient and be kind and they will fix this.
    If the person you talked to could not fix this then go up the chain and make your complaint.
    I'm sure Mr Potterfield would like to know about this and then fix you up.

    Beware of Midway and their "UPS Basic" shipping service. I just found out the hard way that this service means that UPS delivers your package to the local post office, who then sits on it for a couple of days before delivering it. I'm not as upset as the OP, but I'm still pretty pissed. I placed my order in plenty of time for a Thursday delivery, and I <span style="text-decoration: underline">might</span> get it on Saturday. A call to Midway yielded the admission that the description of the service on the website is difficult to find.

    I don't care if they have a "super slow" shipping option available, but it would have been nice to know about it in advance.

    They F#*ked up my Redding dies that cost $200 three times. I called the shipping manager and begged them to be put in a box. Got the last set the same as the before. I keep them because I got sick of the four months ordeal. They look like shit but they work.

    + 1 You get a UPS tracking # and it shows up from USPS!!!!, but it shows up.
