Right now, I have a leup vxl 3-9*50. Shooting a 308, I can see the holes at 100 yards. I'm really wanting a tactical scope and was wondering if it was possible to holes at 100 with the miller?
You won't be disappointed with the TRS-1, especially for the money! I have two MIL/MIL versions and have had 4 of the older 1/8th MOA versions and have never had a problem out of any of them.
I have a Millett TRS-1 on my .308 and I have no problem seeing my hits on paper at 200yds on 16x. On a good day, I can see them at 300yds, but it really depends on the conditions. Shoot'nSee or Orange Peel targets help.
On July 31 I saw .22 cal (.22-250) holes that were going fast enough they punched through a 4" clay at 250 yards without busting the clay. I got a sighter AND a recorded shot in one on those shots, almost like cheatin' but not. If that's not impressive for an relatively inexpensive scope I don't know what is.
