Well goddamn, Marty you hit the nail on the head right there! It has been really fucking cold out so there is the reason for it... I am going to go have a beer now...

Sounds about right Adam...that must have been a couple months ago lol. Actually now that I think of it I was at the range a month ago w/ an ar15 and a glock 21 blasting away. Guess I have other toys to play with too
I am hoping to make it to the F class league on Monday nights this spring but have a feeling most of my free time is going to be spent on my mountain bike on the local single tracks.
I took the skid steer and plowed a parking lot and shooting area today as well as a place for targets with 700 yards of atmosphere between the two. We should be able to have targets from 0 to 500 and from 600-700, there's a low spot roughly 500-600 yd area.

Nice and warm out here in CO... Drove past the dirtbike track and people were out riding and we may go hit the range with the new toy that I picked up out here...
Now if it wasn't going to be -15F tonight we could do some shooting soon. This winter is dragging on! I was moved to the Monday - Friday crew at work form 0700 to 1500 so Monday night f-class league at ER should NOT be an issue for me!!!!
FYI, I just posted the 2009 F class league schedule from PG 19 on the first page and first post of this thread. Not sure what the start times are going to be, Adam do you know?
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: AutoVerminator</div><div class="ubbcode-body">wow, my new sig line is annoying...</div></div>
agreed, lol
66 degrees out here today and supposed to be over 70 tomorrow, went out shooting a bit yesterday... The Leupold 8.5-25 broke on the 16th round... Hmm, guess this Nightforce will have to work!
On another note, I have hit up all the local gun shops out here in Denver and they are so sold out on pistols and anything semi auto it is crazy! I was at Sportsmans today to see what they had for scopes and I think I counted 10 or 11 handguns and that was it ion the wall! Nothing like what I have seen in MN.
Every getting ready for this weekend? I just got back fro being gone a few days and besides AV, seems to be awful quiet here.... No ditching out on this one. Looks like Noah won't be going, and I was planning on heading out to Marty's sometime Saturday and stay around till later Sunday if its still ok with him. I have room for three more guys in the vehicle, mine as well car pool.
We have some company coming over Saturday so I won't be down till Sunday.
What time are we starting?
Do we need to bring anything? (besides a rifle and ammo)
OMG, I went and rode my 20" BMX bike for the first time in 9 years at Rehbien's indoor BMX track last night and I had a blast! This thing just hauls ass, so fast and smooth it was unreal. Guess I am going to do BMX racing and practice now for the next couple months until I can start riding my mountain bike at all the fabulous single tracks around the metro area. Need to sell a rifle so I can put that money towards a 7" full suspension free ride mountain bike and go do naughty things on the downhill tracks. Anyone interested in a 700P in 338RUM?
Marty...Chris called me today and said his computer is in the shop and that since no one out here can go to your house he cant afford to pay all the gas to get there and back by himself....and he asked if we can plan this another day...

DUDE....that sig line is getting more annoying..... </div></div>
Beautiful weather up here today, good day to scratch the winter itch.
Went to my parents house and sighted in this:
Marlin 915YS,.22 long or short, single shot.
Bought it as a "first plinker" for my 7yr old. Pretty accurate from about 20yds. Ran through a box of sub-sonics and a box of shortys.
Also popped off 2 mags (12rounds) from my new Ruger LCP. fun little pocket gun, the 3 inch long trigger pull take a bit of getting used to, I think the pull on my XD45 is shorter.

Hurry up and make up your mind...my $50 offer expires soon! Might be willing to go $60 if you toss in brass, dies, powder and projectiles
</div></div>
If you are really interested send me a PM. I will keep things more than fair.
I don't shoot what I have because I have no time for it anymore. Between work, the women, and friends I am lucky if I get to sleep at night. Crazy world. I really hope I have time for F class league this spring, I will try to go as much as possible.
badkarma78, i'm about an hour and a half or so south of Duluth, not a member of the Northwestern <span style="font-weight: bold">Gub</span> Club, just thought I would say hi
cool, I went to school in braham, how old are your family members, I might know them?
You might have to come down this way this summer I am thinking of having a shoot here at my place, i've got a gravel pit on my property and can get out to 500yds easily probably further.
If anyone else reads this and is interested let me know and we can talk about getting something set up
That would be great, Im just putting together my rifle, as I'm suppose to attend a LE sniper course at the end of apr and being that I work PT and its a small department, I'm paying for everything myself, and as it usually goes, what was supposed to start off cheap has grown into almost $2000 lol.. but Im getting good glass so in the long run it will be cheaper. My sister is in her mid 40's I believe. her husband was born and raised in Braham.
I am only 20, so probably don't know them, however my parents both grew up around braham and are about that age, so i'm guessing they would probably know them.
let me know if you have any ideas for the shoot this summer, I'd really like to get some steel to shoot at too...
