I have a model 7 that is a .243 right now. This gun was gave to me a long time ago and I really just have no use for the caliber. Was thinking on getting it rechambered to something that interest me. I know the bolt face is wrong, but I’ve already been told they could open that up to a magnum one.
Any reason why I shouldn’t go with a 7mm saum in this model 7? I’m thinking about sending it to LRI to have it done and hopefully make a shooter out of it. I would end up setting it up as a hunting rifle.
Thanks.
