Monopod suggestions

Just looking to get a monopod for my PRS stock.

Really? They seem pretty practical to me; same thing as a rear bag right?
I wonder how they'll work on uneven/ soft surfaces??

Suggestion? Don't get one. Rear bags are quicker, more stable and easier to make the micro adjustments for the shot. Save your money and use a good rear bag.
