Are you looking specifically for MP5-style guns, or are you just looking for something that may be functionally similar? Functionally similar guns would be the CZ Scorpion and the Sig MPX, both of which may be able to be found for less than an MP5 clone.
Don't get me wrong, if the MP5 is what you want, knock yourself out... but if you're just looking for a PDW-style setup, the CZ and the Sig might be worth a look.

I have a Zenith (MKE) Z5RS that I SBR'ed. I run a SilencerCo 45 Octane HD on it, with 147gr Subs that I reload. That thing just goes, and doesn't skip a beat! I sent it off for some trigger work and it's even better. I don't think I've had a single jam, and have had about 2k rds through it.

I am looking at mp5 style guns. The Scorpio. And MPX are both very tempting and it is possible I may go that route. For what I'm wanting out of the gun, the mp5 seems like it will do it plus I've always wanted one.
