So not only did they have 11,000 untested rape kits they happily sent people to prison who where innocent according to DNA evidence.

Sent innocent man to prison for 15 years while the man who committed the rapes went on to do so several more times .

It only took 15 years to actually arrest the serial rapist and set the innocent man free .

Now you understand why I'm all super hesitant when these "righteous" folks get all up in arms about wanting to kill "those bad rapists" and such.
Maybe you can find some way to compensate or at least try to compensate someone for spending a decade or two in a hell hole when they were innocent, it might take a couple million and a lot of therapy and a lot of restitution.

But you can't undo killing someone and I'll bet None of the good folks would be up for proper eye for an eye punishment when the witnesses and investigators, killers and guards, are proven to have lied or falsely accused an innocent man and killed them.

You simply cannot trust the "justice system" at all.

It's funny how the "good people" seem to be completely oblivious to the evil and immorality of ruining and doing great harm and causing great suffering to innocent people and they are like, oh well, so what we let you out big deal, get over it...
As long as some Uniform Hangers or the State is the one doing great evil to someone, they don't seem to care and are fine with it.

Yes - I am in theory all for an eye for an eye . But I also accept and acknowledge that the system cannot be trusted .

Detroit may have in many ways led the pack in the decline of the Republic but now things have equalized.
This wasn’t even incompetence or a mistake or a close call . DNA said it wasn’t him - amazingly it was one of the rape kits they tested , and for another the two victims both claimed their attacker had puzzle piece tattoos, and there was something funny with picking out pictures of the suspect- I’d have to read it again but either the poor victims were strongly encouraged to pick the guy they liked or some such.
This was open malice and hostility.

Remember White Boy Ric- one of Americas youngest drug lords , got his dope from the dea and protection from them and Detroit PD and when he was shot by a business associate he was charged and sentenced to the longest prison term in state history for a nonviolent crime . Crime funded and protected by the system.

How about instead of letting the rapists off we fix problem we have with proscuters hiding evidence and railroading innocent people. Maybe put some skin in the game. Not just oops your bad keep your bonus and pension. Innocnet man spent 15 year in prison due to malice.

Why does this surprise anyone? Socialism is an EVIL religion based on hate, stupidity, envy, greed and incompetence. They do not care about evidence and only make the most basic efforts at services like law enforcement. If they can convict an innocent man instead of processing evidence and building an evidence based case, they will gladly do it.

11,000 untested rape kits is normal, because the left does not think rape is a crime. They are led by Joe Biden a serial pedophile with a 70 year history of pedophile rape. All of their heroes are rapists, homosexuals, deviants or in some cases straight up deranged. To see them unwilling and utterly uninterested in using evidence to solve crimes is totally unsurprising.

it was actually the fbi that recruited white boy rick to be an informant, supposedly promising not to prosecute his dad for gun running (which they had no intention of doing, since rick sr. was already an informant). they dropped him when the detroit pd was caught covering up crimes for the drug dealers, and the fbi couldn't be caught with a 14/15 year old informant on the payroll.
