Most common method of sniper insertion?

I was just wondering what the most common insertion method is for snipers in places like Afghanistan. I know the general infantry has a lot of trouble with IED's while traveling in Humvees, but I was curious if snipers use the same methods of transport or if they are generally flown into a remote location by helicopter.

There are lots of different ways, but the best way is a HALO drop from 100,000 feet 20 miles offshore. Then, swim ashore and "ninja sniper" anyone that gets in the way. Find a hide, accomplish the mission. Then, get a SPIES extraction so you can continue to "whack tangos" as you fly to safety... JMHO...

the latest TTP's dictate but what seems to be the most effective as of late is the ole "Trojan Horse" method. Basically without divulging too much OPSEC what you do is capture a talibani, using drugs knock them out, and insert a sniper in his cornhole. Then release the subject back into the wild and when he returns to the hive the sniper fires well aimed fire from his "hide". the tricky part comes when the sniper has to escape and evade afterward. Also it gets dicey if the talibani accidentally farts, pre mature deployment and all

I don't know about a snipers preferred insertion method but I like to spit on the two-hole and send it home.

its all high speed low drag like... sometimes with segways, but what is real interesting is the weapon of choice. Most actually prefer an SKS in a folding Choate stock with a CounterSniper scope on it. its super awesome. bathing in ammonia will take care of the dogs. High Speed in its best form

They got movies on this...Sniper I, Sniper II and the best one of all Sniper III. Huge amounts of sniping and counter sniping info.
