Most important piece of kit

i'd be interested in a hooded poncho liner, so you could really wear it while you sit around (for hunting). I found some companies, but they seem to charge 80+. It would be notably cheaper to get an issued one and give it to a seamstress and have the hood added ...

That's what some 550 chord does.

From experience I say comfort items. Being wet - cold - or being eaten alive by insects is the only thing worse than being bored.
I say poncho - dry towel - dry socks - hand warmer - insect repellant.
When it gets boring I used to go to hard candies. Timing them and really concentrating on the flavor. Sounds stupid but it worked for me. Real big red hots would waste a whole hour.

That didn't work. What did I do wrong?

Glenfarclas 105 cask strength single malt: An uncomplicated nose of raisins, butterscotch and toffee. Full bodied with a long, warm finish. Perfect in the dryness of the evenings at altitude.

Once you have Black Stalion or 5 Kings, you'll never want anything else. Liquor just isn't the same once you've had it made with sewage from the Tigris and formaldehyde!
