Stay safe mate, we have been a bit luckier in South Australia but Kangaroo Island copped a beating today.
Cheers mate, we're all good but a few friends have had some rough luck. A former co-worker sold her house at Oakdale which recently burnt down after she moved. She moved just near Moruya and will probably be hit by fires down there.

That's shit about Kangaroo Is. I've heard that place is beautiful

It was the ancient Sumarians (Hammarbi) that are generally credited with the first beer and wine making (IIRC). They bear no relation to modern Iranians in ethnicity.
I wanted to add, the modern Spanish word for beer, cervesa, originated from a Roman word for beer that they derived from the ancient Celtic word for beer.
Again, if IIRC, the earliest evidence of fermentation beverage was found in modern Israel. Also China could be credited with beer making that predates the Sumerians. But all that is up for debate. I am no archeologist nor a sociologist.
Just a student of booze! ?
