It’s pretty hard to tell sometimes without additional context.

In general I think most don’t need the additional context, usually when it needs the context for understanding, understanding is still lacking. IMHO.

Unfortunately, he was fired. Ive known him for 30 years, he is a good friend and was about to retire. The dept just threw him out like a sack of trash, he gave a lot for metro dade and they dont have his back when clearly the subject was combative and headbut his chin. Sad days we live in
