Something like that. I know Sub-Zero owns Wolf and are based in Madison, WI.
We erected a 9000 sq/ft steel building on my buddies property and we didn't go in there very frequently over the first six months. One day I walked around and killed a couple of dozen of those fuckers. Easy to find. Just look for the pile of dead insect and spider bodies on the floor. She's usually a foot or two above them.
Not my first LBC (Little British car) Ive had Triumphs, a Ginetta, Other Lotuses Nash Metropolitan. Was a profesional Mercedes mechanic during the 80's and early 90's. Crashed a few and luckily walked away. Even crewed at vitage races. Down to a Triumph in the garage now. Retired Spitfire race car that Ive managed to get licensed for the road.
Mine too when I lived in OK, those little bastards and their webs under cabinets, shelves etc. don't stand a chance against a gas powered leaf blower.

I developed a 104* temp within 15 minutes of being bit.
This is within 45 minutes of being bit.
Needless to say I spent 10 days in the hospital from it.

My wife is from northern Cali. My in-laws are fine Americans. Conservative, hard working, generous people. If you're hungry, they'll feed you. Beer is in the fridge, get what you want.
I've been there in May and in June. Some of the women are bitching about the heat. 85° and 15% humidity. I say "what heat?" Told all of them not to come visit us in July and August, because they might die.
I enjoyed my time in northern Cali.
Some great people there.
My wife worked in the office of a construction company, one of the workers went to the porta john to take a dump and a brown recluse bit him on the ass. Not nice at all. Ft Polk had some old wooden crappers out at the range, we were instructed to flip the seats with a stick and check for spiders and snakes, make sure there wasn't anything to bite cha! Ouch!
