This was videoed on the Case's Cove loop in the Smokey Mountains. It's a tourist road for watching wildlife and yada yada. Bumper to bumper cars creeping along hoping to see elk, deer, bears and whatever. Often the idiots end up being the story like those in Yellowstone.
I am sure that the bear would have done what was necessary much quicker if it wasn't for the throng of onlookers in close proximity. The bear was probably worried that the humans were going to interfere and was more than likely trying to get it's lunch away from the idiots.
Tons of opportunity to put that hog out of its misery if someone had a rifle. At least the big cats know how to kill something. The bear is just biting the back of its head and neck.

When my grandfather was alive (passed this past Nov) this is exactly what would happen his final few years when he was trying to articulate new thoughts. Old memories of events, no problem there, but new thoughts that required deductive reasoning or problem solving.. this is what would happen after age 89 or so. Died at 93.
