My condolences to you and yours for your brother's passing.

But I have to ask. You dug the hole?
Yes. It's our own family cemetery and we take care of it and do our own burials. So I, along with his two sons, dug the hole. I did the covering up after the ceremony.

Beautiful skinners. I bought 2 practically identical for my Dad and father-in-law for my wedding with the understanding that they be returned to my children as part of their inheritance. I have my father-in-laws knife which is brand new because he hasn't taken a big game animal in the last 20 years and no longer hunts. My Dad is now 74 and his has some scars and has been through close to 20 elk since I got married and some deer (deer get no respect from him as they're for meat and elk are meant for glory at his house) so they're still in use and still collecting scars from additional hunting trips. Dad can't hunt as well as he did when he was younger but called me this morning when he was fixing fence and said he was going to be logging some big Doug firs later when the ground dried out this afternoon but he already had 8 logging truck loads ready to go. I hope to hunt with him for another 20 years. Beautiful knives.
