Damn she’s done over 300 so far I’m impressed!
It took me a bit but I finally got around to getting a halfway decent pair of boots. Not totally happy about the color, so I'm thinking about going at them with some black boot polish. On the other hand, the gray is a bit unique.

Had to medevac a guy back to Germany to a burn unit when one of those flares he was working on went off in his lap. Guess he was using the wrong tool and set it off. Guy was a mess. Another guy was walking out the door of the shop at the time and the flash burned him as well but not nearly as bad.
Was he Mil or contractor? If correct procedures are followed those flares and dispensers are quite safe. Only problem I saw with them was when they were deployed too close to the ground and caused fires but that was also a legitimate use for them.
Dude, that thing was seen and photographed by the Ga DNR, police, and around 50 different reporters as well as half the people in that part of the county. But whatever…
